Testing Your System
You, as the end user of your security system, are encouraged to test it on a regular basis. The bare minimum is annually, but we recommend testing your system and communicator on a monthly basis, especially after a lightning storm. Always contact the monitoring center prior to setting off your system to reduce the possibility of false alarms. After you have tested your system, contact them to determine if all the signals you sent actually reported to the central station. The primary central station for the majority of our customers is Paragon and can be reached 24 hours a day.
